Challenge

FIAL (Food Innovation Australia Limited) is the Food and Agribusiness Growth Centre. FIAL collaborates with industry to grow the share of Australian food in the global marketplace.

RMH Consulting worked with FIAL over a period of three years to assist them with various marketing projects which aligned to their core pillars; Sharing Knowledge, Building Capability, Creating Connections.

  • How could they best market to achieve their goals and ensure continued funding?
  • How could they execute their strategy to have conversations on social media with their target audiences?
  • How could they gain great media coverage and industry awareness of their Celebrating Australian Food and Agribusiness Innovations annual book?
  • How could they share the great things they were achieving for small food businesses across Australia and inspire other businesses to seek out their support?

Activities

  • Marketing strategy consulting: we hosted workshops with the FIAL marketing and executive teams to develop their marketing strategies and plans.
  • Social Media Management: we ran social media for FIAL across multi channels.
  • Campaign design and management: we executed two launch campaigns for Celebrating Australian Food and Agribusiness Innovations annual book, along with various other campaigns to promote events across Australia.
  • PR and case study development: we developed stories and pitched to media. Case studies included interviewing food business owners, developing the case study content, creating graphics, and publishing content on the website.

Results

  • Smart marketing, with purpose, meaningful and aligned, guided by the strategy and plans
  • Investment in marketing for core pillars to ensure goals were met, to ensure future funding of FIAL: Sharing Knowledge, Building Capability, Creating Connections.
